It started as an idea between a DME Supplier and a Hospice Care Provider, to simplify, streamline and optimize the interactions between the two groups-understanding that both have an equal stake in the quality of care delivered to the patients they serve. With that goal in mind, they gathered a collective of the best industry and technology minds and developed an online platform that cut cost and time and improved the efficiency and collaboration between the back office systems of both DME Suppliers and Hospice Care Providers. Hospicelink was born. Today, our clients come to us with their most complex business problems, and we work closely with them to tailor a comprehensive, innovative solution that fits their individual needs. Chad Trull Chief Executive Officer & Founder

Chad Trull serves as Hospicelink's Chief Executive Officer. He founded Hospicelink in 2011, after identifying a need for a technology solution to address challenges faced by Hospice operators and DME providers. Prior to founding Hospicelink, Chad owned and operated Independent Medical Equipment, a large DME provider based in Birmingham, Alabama. Chad's previous experience also includes Deloitte-Touche, where he was a Tax Consultant. He is a graduate of Samford University with a BS in Accounting.

Patrick Kent Chief Financial Officer

Patrick Kent, CPA, joined Hospicelink in 2013, and is responsible for guiding the Financial and Administrative functions of the Company. Patrick has over 10 years’ experience in accounting and financial management. He is a certified public accountant, and holds a BS from the University of Montevallo and a Masters in Accounting from the University of Alabama Birmingham.

Xan Cooley VP of Operations

Xan joined Hospicelink in 2012, and is responsible for all Operations and Product Management functions of the Company. Xan’s teams truly own our customer experience and each day strive to exceed all customer expectations. Xan’s previous experience includes planning and implementing large scale software applications as well as developing cutting-edge solutions for companies such as the UAB Health System, The Children’s Hospital of Alabama, Baptist Health System and HealthSouth. She has 25 years of healthcare experience, 21 of which are technology-based.

Donnie Gooch Chief Technology Officer

Donnie joined Hospicelink as Chief Technology Officer in 2012, after being involved in the early development of our application. Prior to joining Hospicelink, Donnie was one of the founders of Pointclear Solutions - a technology consulting and application development group. His experience also includes Comframe Software and BellSouth. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Samford University, and MPPM from Birmingham Southern College.
Steve Potier

Steve Potier VP of Network Management

Steve Potier is our VP of Network Management and is responsible for analyzing new raw data, negotiating pricing and contracting with Hospicelink DME network providers. Previously, he served as the DME Analyst for Gentiva’s Hospice division where he organized, implemented and contracted a preferred provider program. Steve has served in both technical and managerial DME roles for many national providers such as Lincare Inc, Apria Healthcare, and Praxair Healthcare Services over a 14-year period.
Tim Callahan

Tim Callahan VP of Sales

Tim Callahan is our Regional Vice President of Sales, and is responsible for new business development. Previously, Tim was Manager of Business Development with HospiScript, the market leader for pharmacy benefit management services in the hospice industry. He holds a B.S. in Business from The Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Tim has over 8 years of experience in the hospice industry.
